A Time for Pureness

Spring is a delightful season for us all. With the longer days and fresh energy, we are renewed. Winter has come to an end and spring has sprung, signaling a time to wake up from hibernation and begin to observe growth and blossoming.

How often has someone asked you - tell me about you?  What do you say?  Do you tend to gloss over some aspects of your experiences? Each of us has a story that we don't always share with others and ourselves.

Our life experiences have served as plots to bring us to our current destination, just as a compass guides us. The lesson to our continued development is to feel grounded in our story.  We are able to expand by accepting the parts that trouble us the most.  It is important to take the time to recognize and acknowledge each plot's meaning and purpose.

For the heart exercise:

Make a list of life moments that you remember fondly and those that make you cringe. You can use your phone or a piece of paper. Review what you've plotted. What stands out to you?

Pure refers to the state of being undiluted. I would like to tell my story in its most pure form. When I think about purity, I wonder what percentage of my stories are diluted. Through bias, guilt, and societal norms, we can taint our story with dilution. When we approach our stories with loving kindness, we open up the space to be honest with our deepest selves.

According to this thought-provoking excerpt from Power vs Force, we should avoid the following: shame, guilt, confusion, fear, hatred, pride, hopelessness, and falsehood. In retrospect, the essence of life is to realize truth, courage, acceptance, reason, love, beauty, joy and peace. Now is the time to release what weakens us and elevate what uplifts us.

A new moon occurs in Aries on April 1st - a time to propel us forward with grace and ease.  As you contemplate your story, how can you prepare your intentions for the following chapters?  There are magical forces at work in this shift within the universe.  Allow it to guide you through what is to come.
