It's ok to want more

As I traveled to Tokyo this weekend—delays and all—there was a moment high above in the sky where the colors were so vibrant, with oranges and reds all around the horizon, in contrast with the pillowy, stormy clouds. It took my breath away.

Stepping into the rhythm of life, we encounter moments of undeniable greatness and joy. From the tender embrace of a friend to the celebration of reaching our goals, these instances paint the canvas of our existence with vibrant colors, much like my airplane ride. Yet, within the symphony of these experiences, there lingers a quiet yearning and a sense of wonder, a gentle tug urging us to explore beyond the boundaries and limits of our current reality. This question whispers, could it be better? Is this desire for more abundance innate to my divine purpose? The secret is our purest sense—we are meant for abundance.

It is a topic I have been diving deep into over the past couple of months, whether in my MindValley class or reading more of some of my favorite teachers. In the realms of spiritual wisdom and personal development, luminaries like Abraham Hicks and Joe Dispenza have shared invaluable insights into the nature of abundance and the pursuit of a better existence. They remind us that while we should bask in the glory of our current blessings, it's also perfectly natural to desire more, to aspire for greater heights of fulfillment and joy, breaking through the limitations that we have stacked through our experiences, recoding our beliefs to be connected, free from societal pressures or simply the pressures we have imposed on ourselves.

Abraham Hicks speaks of the infinite abundance of the universe, where there's always more love to give, more dreams to manifest, and more joy to experience. So, what does it mean to embrace abundance and the pursuit of better? It's about honoring the present moment while holding space for growth and expansion. It's about expressing gratitude for all that we have while remaining open to receive even more. It's about acknowledging that our journey towards improvement is not a sign of inadequacy, but rather a testament to our boundless potential as co-creators of our reality. The most important part is going deep into acknowledging what needs to be released because it no longer serves you, because in some way it is holding back the abundance that is waiting for us.

In essence, it's okay to want more out of life when you come from a pure place with love and intention for all. It's okay to envision a reality that surpasses our current circumstances and to want greater impact. It's okay to strive for better relationships, better health, better opportunities, and better experiences. In fact, it's more than okay—it's a celebration of our innate capacity for growth and evolution that is aligned with our higher purpose. It is our destiny. Diving deep into this myself, I have learned so much, I have released so much, and there is a sense of yes, I want better and it is waiting for me to let go and embrace all that I am meant to be in this lifetime.

Let us remember to embrace the duality of contentment and ambition, as we continue to navigate this journey called life. Let us cherish the greatness that surrounds us while eagerly reaching for the stars. And above all, let us revel in the beauty of our own journey towards a life that is not just great, but truly extraordinary. Because at the end of the day, we are meant for the extraordinary.
