turning curiosity into momentum

Let's get unstuck! We can easily find ourselves caught in the same old routines. It's like we're stuck in a hamster wheel, running around and around without really getting anywhere. Can you relate, my lovely ladies? We forget to explore what truly makes us happy and brings us a sense of wonder and excitement. But living authentically and trying new things can help us connect with ourselves and others in powerful ways.

When we experiment, we discover new aspects of ourselves that we never knew existed. Perhaps you've always seen yourself as a homebody, but after trying a new outdoor activity like hiking or kayaking, you realize how much you love being in nature. Or maybe you've never been interested in art, but after taking a painting class, you discover a new creative outlet that brings you joy. Even if you feel like you're stuck in a rut, trying out new things can help you challenge your assumptions and find new ways to grow and discover yourself.

Of course, trying new things can be scary and uncomfortable. It's natural to feel anxious or unsure when we step outside of our comfort zones. But it's important to remember that growth and self-discovery often come from taking risks and trying new things. By embracing discomfort and uncertainty, we can build resilience and develop new skills and perspectives that benefit us in all areas of our lives.

I encourage you to ask yourselves: What's missing from my daily life that gives me pure joy? What am I curious about that I haven't explored? It could be something small or grand. Whatever it is, take a chance and try something new. It's a powerful way to live fully and embrace every opportunity to grow and discover more about ourselves and the world around us.

I remember when I felt stuck in my desire to do humanitarian work. I realized that my previous definition of it wasn't working for my life. So, I sat in my 300 square foot studio and searched for volunteer opportunities. It opened up a whole world of possibilities that I never knew existed. Taking that step was a pivotal moment in my life journey, and the experiences that followed changed me.

So, let's get out there and explore new experiences, deepen our connections, and live a meaningful life. Whether it's trying a new food, taking a new class, or starting a new hobby, every new experience can help us connect with ourselves and others in important ways. Let's break out of our routines and embrace the opportunities that come our way.
